Dear Friends,
We want to introduce you to a part of our family.
It's a beach cabin, and we've named it Glenesslin.
The name came from a sailing ship that ran aground near our cabin in the
early 1900's. The cabin is located
at the foot of Neahkahnie Mountain at Neahkahnie Beach that adjoins Manzanita.
It's about 20 minutes south of Cannon Beach.
This home is a completion of a lifelong dream for us, and we want to
share it with you too, our special friends and family.
Glenesslin is on the beachfront above the ocean in a
woodsy, secluded location, and has a spectacular view from Neahkahnie Mountain,
south to Cape Mears. Our cabin can
sleep up to 6 people, has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, dining
and living area, woodstove, cable T.V., VCR, and a phone.
There is a path, out the back door for the "hearty" to take to
the ocean edge, or a 5 minute walk will bring you to a community access path to
the sand. The cabin is 10 minutes
from the Nehalem River, which is famous for its fishing, that includes trout,
steelhead, salmon, and crabbing.
We made the decision to rent Glenesslin to friends
who we believe will care for her as we do.
We have established some conditions that are important to us for people
to follow when renting our cabin. They
are:
1 - A maximum of
six people.
2 - No pets.
3 - The charge for the cleaning service is $40.00.
4 - Deposit in advance.
5 - No RV parking.
We believe that this is one of the most beautiful
spots on the Oregon Coast, and hope that you will be able to enjoy our cabin as
we do.
Sincerely,
Dick
and Joyce Booth
